Hey,
I have a problem concerning my wardrobe for the next season. Together with the autum/ spring collection come the brand new wide-leg jeans. What do you think about this? The last seasons the skinny jeans was THE fashion highlight and now it will/ should be replaced by a wide-leg model? I love my skinny and I don't want to buy another one but is it possible to come around this trend?
Thanks for your help.

I'm not a fan of wide-legged, but die-hard fashionistas will no doubt conform to the trend. Wide-legged won't last long I can't imagine, people generally have a preferance for fitted clothes and will revert back to skinny IMO or something else. If I were you I'd not purchase a new pair and just wait for the trend to pass.

Hi,
I don't think the trend will pass by very soon. I like my skinny jeans too but I am open for new things. And I am glad that the new trend is a wide-legged because it covers my problem areas smile.gif Meli, try it on and have a look in the mirror: Does it look as bad as you thought?

No, it doesn't look that bad but I don't like them anyway. One year ago I bought a high-waisted jeans and I don't wear them anymore because it is out of fashion. I spend a lot of money on this jeans and I don't want to hit the hay again.

Flares are making a come back but if you don't want to go the whole hog I would suggest a bootcut.it is more flattering for a pare shaped figure. I am glad that skinny's are going away. I look really bad in them and Diesel (my fave jean brand) have made all of them so slim in recent years that I couldn't get me foot in them let a lone a whole leg.

Haha, I have my suspicions that you've pressurised the fashionistas at Diesel into plugging the wider-leg trend to tend to you're own needs!!

Hey Minx,
that is completely true. Sometimes these skinnys are so slim that it is nearly impossible to get into them. Therefore I prefer stretch jeans. They are even better when you eat at bit to much of chocolate... smile.gif I don't like bootcut jeans because I did wear them when I was a teenager and I looked horrible.

Hey Heidi,
welcome in our forum!
Thanks for your opinion and now I must agree with you. I also do not want to buy a wide-leg jeans. Therefore I love my skinnies too much. I made my decision smile.gif
I am shure that some girls will look amazing in flares but I won't. Have you any special brand you prefer or you could recommend? I bought my last one at ZARA ( a cheap one) but now it doesn't fit any more and I have to buy a new one.
Thanks for your help,
Bye meli

I arrived in London a few days ago and I think that you can wear everything!
Certainly you will go with the trend, but if you like your skinnys than wear it!

My impression at the moment is, that you can wear everything in London!

You can combine modern tops with your jeans.
