Watson is the name of a gadget that shows you how many energy your home is using. Maybe you would like it, because it has a modern design and shows you in small charts and graphs where to save energy. But isn't it just a waste of money? Would you buy such a gadget? I would not.

I think it depends on how much it was in all honesty! If you are looking to save the pennies spending copious amounts on such a device would not be too appealing. However if it wasn't too expensive I think it has the potential to be a nifty little gadget.

Maybe you are right. It is useful for saving pennies but not for getting rich. It would be a little gadget for somebody who likes to say "Take care of the pence and the pounds will take care of themselves." But I am still not shure if Watson is profitable!?

I don't know...it is a matter of expenditure vs savings, I don't have one so I don't know how much money it saves (although I imagine this would differ from person to person anyway depending upon personal consumption) nor do I know how much it costs!

Surely if it is meant to save you energy it shouldn't have lights all over it - beats the object wouldn't you say?

But they would sell even fewer of this gadgets if it is ugly. It has to have all this stylish lights to gain attention....But @ Minx: you are right, it makes no sense to sell an energy saving product and equip it with so many lights!

There should be otherways to make it aesthetically pleasing without the lights, stylish and lights needn't be exclusive to eachother.

Aesthetically pleasing.....nice words smile.gif You are right, but on the other hand it shows the consumer in small graphics where he waste electricity and money. Therefore the light are indispensable.

That's very true, otherwise it would just be a box claiming to save you money, but without the visual depictions so you'd be left in the dark! (Pun intented biggrin.gif )

Okay, I'll concede that 'some' lights are may be required, but surely judging by that picture they've still gone a bit overboard!
