Hi,
I am buying my daughter a Laptop for Christmas. She is 9.I have no idea what to look for because i don't know anything about Computer jargon! I don't want to spend any more than £350.I have looked on the usual sites,Pc World,Currys Comet etc and have seen a few but as i don't really know what to look for, i don't know which one is best for her.She will be using it to go on the net, Educational and the odd game.Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.

Buy of the cheap package deals from Commet, PC world or directly from Dell. If she is only 9 she will not need all the modcons that some of the other computers have and seeing as it's a laptop you are after - they are hard to upgrade so you will probably be looking to buy a new one by the time she does her a-levels so there is not much point in spending out now when you will have to folk out a lot more in the future.

I would recommend:
