Hi,
I'm looking for a mp3 player suitable for jogging with. I have an ipod 40gb but taking it jogging is def not good for it.
So, as it will just be for taking jogging, I want to know if anyone has any suggestions for:
a small mp3 player
thats really cheap - around £20 if there is one!
can survive me jogging with it,
would be best if it could play podcasts and work with itunes, rather than having to transfer songs to windows media player.
good if could recharge it via computer or mains (but battery would be ok if it has good battery life, dont want to send all my money of AAA batteries.)
Something like a
ATMT LITE MP130BK MP3 Player perhaps. Closest i've found and only £16, but maybe theres a reason for that?

Does anyone think they own one or can recommend one which matches these requirements? Thank you.

Hi Cat

Definitely right - hard disk based MP3 players are really too heavy, too bulky, and too likely to skip, to be suitable for jogging.

There's nothing really wrong with the ATMT model - at the price, it's great for jogging. The audio quality is not great, and the connection to the computer is a USB 1.1 connection, so it's a little bit slow. But given what you are most likely to use it for, this should be a good model for you.

You could also try the Creative Muvo Micro. The main advantage is slightly longer battery life, but there's really not much in it.

Happy jogging

Hi Zibby, Thank you for informing about this wonderful MP3 players. But here I can see that It don't have much memory.it's only 128mb. and I have some solid doubt about it's battery life. Do you know any mp3 player which have at least 1gb memory and 3 hours of rechargeable battery and which I can take during my fitness training?
