Hi

Just looking for some advice, my situation is this....

I used to have a BT line which was disconnected, I now wish to reconnect for broadband....should I use an all in broadband, line rental and phone call deal or reconnect via BT and go for a broadband only deal....there is so much to choose from.....

A 2gig monthly limit up to Megs seems fine....if anyone can recommend the best way to go I would appreciate it

Cheers Pete.

Just having a look at the BT http://url=http://www.productsandservices....o?topicId=15764 wireless broadband http:///url package that comes with their 'home hub' which has an intergrated phone etc in it. It seems pretty good, with unlimited downloads for £18.99 a month, though it goes up in price after 6 months.

Sky are currently advertising a full broadband, phone and sky package at the moment too, they have a ' http://url=http://packages.sky.com/buy/create your combination http:///url' page on their site that lets you select exactly what you want.
Though you will still need to get reconnected to a BT line and pay line rental.

Worth looking through these two site and see what offers etc they have. And even phoning BT to see what they say.

Hope this helps smile.gif

Cheers
Dave

I have Virgin 20MB Broadband at home which works out about £20 a month. We got this one because we tend to down load lots of films, TV shows and music, and with 3 of us living together all working in the IT fields - it can meet all of our demands even if one of us is downloading a big file. Also cable connections tend to be faster than phone line ones. If you go for their 2MB it works out quite a bit cheaper.

You may want to go with BT as you get a free wireless router though I know quite a few people have had bad customer service from them, myself included.
