PriceRunner encourages an open environment to discuss subjects regarding product categories listed on PriceRunner; Users are welcome to exchange ideas, questions and experiences. In order to maintain a pleasant forum atmosphere where everyone enjoys their freedom of speech, the following rules must apply:
Registration
1. To participate in the forum i.e. able to write a message, you have to be a registered member with PriceRunner. Membership is free.
Discussions
2. It is strictly forbidden to personally attack other users. You have the right to express your opinion, but do not offend other users in the process. Tolerance, understanding and kindness should be used in all discussions.
Moderators
3. A moderator’s decision is final. Please accept that moderators exist for the good of the forum and complaints in the forum regarding PriceRunner's moderators will be removed. If you see something that you feel requires action by a moderator, don’t hesitate to contact one of them.
Politics and religion etc.
4. Personal discussions belong outside of the forum. Remember that this is not a chat server.
No copyright or trademarked material
5. You can't post copyright material or a reproduction of registered trade/service marks without permission from the author or owner. For example, this means that, without prior permission, you may not post protected material such as films, music and computer software etc, or an image of a manufacturer's trademarked logo.
No illegal activity
6. Any topic that condones, exploits, or makes use of illegal material is illegal within the forum, asking for or distributing illegal software is strictly forbidden and will not be tolerated. The general rule is that all information which could be used for an illegal purpose is not allowed in the forum this also includes links to sites with similar information.
Etiquette
7. Views and opinions that are considered inflammatory, racist, sexist or hateful will be moderated or deleted. The staff is trying to provide an open environment where posters can share their views, but if their views, or the way they are expressed are inflammatory or offensive to other posters or groups of people in general, then action may be taken against the offender.
Swear Words
8. It is strictly forbidden to use excessive profanity.
Advertising
9. It is forbidden to post advertising in the forum. Instead, please contact Pricerunner to buy on our regular website. It is also forbidden to post buy and sell ads.
Multiple Accounts
10. Multiple accounts are not allowed. Users who try this risk having their membership in these forums revoked.
Publishing Responsibility and Membership
11. Messages are immediately published in the forum without any central control. The opinions and comments in the messages written by our members belong to the individual and are their responsibility. Pricerunner claims no responsibility for this material.
Pricerunner reserves the right to automatically incorporate links in the messages in order to integrate the forum with the Pricerunner website.
Pricerunner reserves the right to remove member accounts for arbitrary reasons.
